At the workshop, you will learn how to persuade an employer to invite you to an interview by targeting your resume to that particular job. Additionally, a cover letter is a great way to introduce yourself to the employer and tell them how your skills, knowledge, and abilities will benefit their company and meet their company needs. To grab the employer’s attention, you will learn how to write a basic business letter that's professional, concise, and to the point.

Attending this workshop is the first step to receiving guided assistance with creating a resume. The next step, if needed, is attending a Resume Lab.
